My buddy and i have been Pike fishing over the winter and have recorded good fish, e.g2 fish over 20lbs from the Barrow,all fish we caught were returned unharmed and released too fight another day. we have come across Foreigh Nationals in our travels,for e.g we saw 6 lads last sunday on the canal in goresbridge,all fishing for pike,i'm sure if they caught fish like we had,they would be killed.It's hard too approach these lads when there is 6 off them.later on that day there were 4 lads fishing near bagenalstown for pike as well. These lads have no idea what the words catch and release means. Pictures too prove of our pike!
